blade65dagger ::: Favorites i agree with falandorn, it twas air drag the lifted the coil, wont work in vacuum as tested in mythbusters. the electrical current was sufficient enuf to have the air around it to flow donwards. producing drag and the lift, when done in an enclosed *vacuum* box, it did not float. bushman's demonstration passing a steel ball thru a steel tube and thru a copper tube with aluminum foil wrapped around is interesting tho, with the two tubes having different time lapse for the steel ball to pass.. 07-08-15 04:03:14 __________________________________________________

It works by putting very high voltage through a coil, the coil in contact with the air then fires out ions to the conductive plate below generating lift upwards due to equal and opposite force.
