hux2000 ::: Favorites Wow, talk about bringing back memories! I was at that festival and for me Ride were the best band there. The first song they played was "Leave It All Behind", with a *really* long intro. When the drums, bass and guitars kicked in it totally blew me away. The video really doesn't do justice to the power of their live sound - you really have to have been there to fully appreciate it. Of all the bands I've ever seen in my life, not one could compare to the adrenaline rush I used to get when these guys played. It's sad that all we have are the recordings now, but this is pretty close to being there.
