Would you still be surviving because of the support of a giant system (ant-colonyeque?) that doesn't know you exist or care about you at all? Would the concept of love and loyalty have meaning for you? Would those words be important to you at all? I really don't know. We've had this convo before and you've yet to define the system for me. If you mean buying and selling in a circle of emotionless machinery then yes, we participate out of survival.
