lonelygirlthomas ::: Favorites No sorry! I loved the X-files,I own all the box-sets Seasons 1-9 to prove it. But they simply ran out of material, even Carter has hinted that he should have ended it after series 7's "Requiem". AS for a new film, unless it was a totally original idea, it would fail. They've already killed of key characters like CGM,3LGs and Krychek, and I'll just cringe if they resurrect CGM again! I did hate to that agent Reyes! As for Scully havin his baby, I would of been happy to have his baby a long time before she did! lonelygirlthomas ::: Favorites The X-files lost it's way after season 5, and even by then it was waning. They should of called it to an end before season six. Could of... I don't know finished it with one big movie. After that it just got totally ridiculous. katz22uk ::: Favorites A red dwarf movie was never realistic, i always knew i wouldn't happen! The show wasn't suited to a movie and the bigger it got (with bigger sets and effects etc.) the more it lost track and lost most of what made it good in the first place! The first few seasons were the best. And with all the personal issues craig charles had it wasn't likely either. You can't compare the two programmes, x-files is totally different show, i really hope the movie does get made!
