Description:

WARNING: You have to purchase a separate codec to read some AVI files with Sony Vegas 6.0 despite what it may say on the outside of the box. (The picture is from Maine, where apparently "barrel picking" is a problem. No wonder the Canadians think we're retarded.)

I've got Sony Vegas, and I like it. It's not as easy to learn as the other sub-$100 solutions, but it has more features. The documentation is absolutely borrible though, and I haven't found any books on it. I wish it would save in DivX, but saving to Quicktime 1mbps yields OK results with YouTube uploads.

3) As far as Sony Vegas is concerned, I've never used it. But thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely keep it in mind. :P

2) damn signs with just 1 single sign saying "No Fun!" He apparently understood by grinning back at me, saying nothing...as we exited the park never to return. Small wonder no one was there. Guess he was making his job easier, eh? But I've never seen the sign "Barrel Picking is Prohibited". However, I never finished reading all the signs (probably 30 of them) at that particular park. I'll look up his address & email him this new suggestion -- which I think he'll greatly appreciate.

1) lol. You think that's bad? We visited a very small County Park in FL once that had a small circular entry with no patrons there. All around the circle, about every 5 feet, there were signs posted like No Bike Riding, No Skateboarding, No Pets, No BBQing, No Frisbees, etc. As we came up to one of the park managers who just happened to be standing there while going around the circle, I stopped & scanned all the signs with my eyes & then kindly told him that he should replace all these...
