When he was having a birthday, I asked his mom if I could come to his party. DblOSmith ::: Favorites He said "Elders"? JW community on of the few communities that use "Elders" as officials of the religion that'd talk to you. I think heathen did well, but whoever this is, I agree with you. I remember when I slipped and said I was going to a haunted house for halloween, and my mother sad me down like a 2 year old and made me read scriptures and pray because Halloween was evil. KingHeathen ::: Favorites sucks that you had to go that far to get the point across. And it sucks even more that your mom would threaten you to try and keep you "in the fold". handscandy ::: Favorites When I first told my mother that I had questions about the church's doctrine she told me that if I stopped going to church she would send me to military school, so I continued going. After my eventual nervous breakdown and many psychiatrist visits later my mother is more open to my freedoms as far as religion is concerned.
