This video is much more cheerful than I would have thought, just from listening to the song. For some reason, the line, "I hope I die before I get sold" sticks in my head.

But by "minority", are you implying that our generations majority is something other than a semi retarded Mtv creation? If so, I beg to differ. I know maybe 6 teenagers in my city who have any true sense of realization or conversational value. Don't misunderstand. I'm not as cynical as I used to be (if one can believe that), but I don't lie to myself about the true nature of most people I know.

I actually graduated High School 2 weeks ago, just so you know. When I wrote that response (5 months ago), I guess I received this as a satirical view of the happy-go-lucky mindset of modern teenagers. I don't really get that impression now, so my guess is that I was very high when I wrote the original comment (It's a lame excuse, but it's very probable.) Then again, I might have just been a bit dumber those few months ago.

This is not a commentary on the decline of the 'iGeneration' but rather a rallying call, that we are what we define ourselves, not what others define us as. It's a message that carries hopefulness, not despair. Though reading your comment, I think you fulfill your own depressing prophecy. Fortunately, you're in the minority, and probably only about 12. Feel free to post a reply when you finish high school.

Okay, if you're going to be a dick about word choice, as least bother to read your own comments. "Very impressing" takes away what minute intellectual credibility you had. That being said, I would disagree with your ostensibly obfuscated observation (note that big words are still used correctly).
