Raistlin347 ::: Favorites To make it clear, the songs that Clayderman plays are all composed by a french composer named Paul Seneville. But they are not hard at all, they are what's called New Age style and that's why they sound so good. But that's what makes people love him so muhc, it's because mid level pianists are able to learn and play his music. If you want to hear some difficult pieces played search for classical music played by Yundi Li or Langlang 07-06-17 15:41:44 _____________________________________________________
RealMoya30 ::: Favorites Thanks, to have this great collection of Richard Clayderman, is fabulous, greetings from Mexico 07-06-22 22:15:19 _____________________________________________________
73nk ::: Favorites No, it's pretty simple, actually. And that's probably why all these tunes Clayderman plays are that great: they have the ability of impressing the audience with little effort. They're simple, but very appealing. Now, I'm not saying Clayderman isn't a talented pianist. Most likely he would be able to play whatever he wanted; he just chose this style, which is not demanding and still is beautiful. 07-06-30 15:19:44 _____________________________________________________
73nk ::: Favorites Almost all of them are composed by Seneville, anyway (though not all). Difficult pieces come from several other composers, like Chopin, Liszt, or some of Bach's fugues. Yundi Li, Lanlang, Evegny Kissin, among others, are pianists who specialize in playing technically demanding pieces as well as arrangements. 07-06-30 15:23:22 _____________________________________________________
lefteye92tlcjfv ::: Favorites Obviously you didn't see the humor in my statement - I would have thought the tacky like liberace would have been enough of a hint that I don't believe this is anywhere near great music. I do however like Vangelis - in 50 years I'd bet you will hear much more of his music being played than this guy who simply wrote what people without appriciation for real music would buy. 07-07-01 15:43:10 _____________________________________________________
73nk ::: Favorites Oh, I didn't get it. Sorry. ^^; I should have payed more attention. ^^ Anyway, I have nothing against Clayderman. I guess he just likes going easy instead of trying more complex music, but well, a lot of people like him, and his music is also cheaper than true classics (at least around these parts). 07-07-01 20:21:18 _____________________________________________________
